What drives and motivates us? What makes us start to do something? I get asked this a lot... How to you keep exercising every day? How do you stay motivated?
The answer is simple. It consists of two things:
A goal (or set of goals)
Don't think, just do it.
A Goal is only a idea or dream until you act on it. Setting and keeping to focused on each step and final outcome is how most things are done. The biggest issue with continuing long term exercise is the fact that when you make a outline of the steps and finally reach the end goal, there is nothing left to continue forward with unless you make a new set of goals with a final goal. I prefer to not exercise in this way of thinking and continue every day with the goal that my life requires exercise to keep physically strong and efficient in all activities I choose to experience.
